Honor Guard Flag Code

When the Honor Guard presents the National Colors we are known as a Color Guard.  The presentation of the American Flag per U.S. Flag code requires protection for the flag and our department provides two axe bearing guards on the left and right of the flag.  We may also incorporate a State of CT Flag, the fire department colors and the US POW MIA Veterans Flag when appropriate.
